 Training Programme

The Following subjects will be studied and trained on, with a high level of skill, knowledge and personal insights being shared by all of the instructors at both a group and personal level to all of the practitioners attending.

JUTTEJUTSU Traditional Japanese police baton for disarming and arresting. These classes will also include training in modern tactics and training including a look at the development of the police truncheon to the PR24 sidehandled baton over the last 30 years.

TANTOJUTSU Knife fighting and disarming skills in the style of the nine traditional Bujinkan Ryu Ha. Including dealing with non traditional attacks from the modern era.

KENJUTSU Ken, Tachi, Katana & Ninjato a lesson in the history and uses of all of the swords of Japan. Including the various tactics and Iai drawing skills of each.

YOROI KUMIUCHI Wearing replica armour the student will gain many insights, into the unarmed tactics and training used by the Samurai of ancient Japan as they fought on the battlefield.

YOROI DAISHO SABAAKI Wearing replica armour the student will train in the use of “Daisho” medium and short range bladed weapons for attack and defence.

YOROI SOJUTSU Wearing replica armour the student will train on both personal and group strategies and tactics using long range pole weapons such as the yari and naginata.

NINJUTSU Learning to coordinate body, mind and spirit this class will look in depth at the Ninja tactic of “Disappearing in the Fight”. Using both physical techniques and studying the inspiration of the Japanese “Gods”.

GOSHINJUTSU Defending from the ground and recovering from being thrown to the ground. Dealing with multiple attackers, and the ability to protect others will all be covered in these ancient and modern self defence senarios.
